Diabetes Management ECHO Learning Series

The North Dakota Department of Health and the UND Center for Rural Health are pleased to bring you a teleECHO learning opportunity designed to increase the access to quality diabetes care in underserved communities throughout North Dakota.

This learning series will begin November 22, 2019 and, over 10 monthly sessions, will cover the “Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes- 2019”.

The Diabetes Care TeleECHO offers:

  • Free continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, and dietitians
  • Collaboration, support, and ongoing learning with subject-matter experts and healthcare staff
  • New ways to support patients in their home community

This 16-hour training will certify you to be a Lifestyle Coach to deliver the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
This course requires pre-work which will be sent prior to class. Registration is required by November 27.
Cost: $20/person

The National Diabetes Prevention Program is being offered at no cost to area residents!

This lifestyle change program includes education and support for people with prediabetes and those at a high risk for prediabetes, and is designed to help people lose weight, be more active, and to prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes.
